From 2019–2025, Devany worked in specialty costume and prop fabrication at Global Effects Inc., collaborating with renowned costume designers including Debra McGuire, Helen Huang, Jill Ohanneson, Catherine George, Shawna Trpcic, and Albert Wolsky.

Serving as both Wardrobe Supervisor and Project Manager, she oversaw specialty fabrication projects from initial design and development through production and final delivery, working closely with costume departments and production teams to bring highly specialized pieces to life.

THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY
Artemis II C/O Crew Technician Suits
Devany led fabrication and production efforts supporting the development of the Artemis II closeout crew technician suits, collaborating closely with teams at Johnson Space Center and Kennedy Space Center. Through concept development, multiple design iterations, prototyping, material procurement, technical compliance, and final approval, she coordinated work across each stage of development with precision and care. Her leadership was instrumental in supporting alignment with NASA’s rigorous requirements for safety, functionality, and integration within the Artemis II mission architecture.
