Devany has extensive experience in specialty costumes & props, having worked at Global Effects Inc. from 2019 to September 2025, where she spearheaded numerous major fabrication jobs and collaborated with legendary costume designers including Debra McGuire, Helen Huang, Jill Ohanneson, Catherine George, Shawna Trpcic, and Albert Wolsky.

Serving as both wardrobe supervisor and project manager, she worked closely with key production members throughout every stage of the manufacturing process—from initial design and development to final delivery. Some project highlights include:

THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY
Artemis II C/O Crew Technician Suits
Devany led the NASA build contract supporting the Artemis II close-out crew technician suits, working collaboratively with engineers and specialists at NASA’s Johnson Space Center and Kennedy Space Center. Through concept development, multiple design iterations, prototyping, material procurement, technical compliance, and final approval, she coordinated the work across every stage of development with precision and care. Her leadership helped ensure the suits aligned with NASA’s rigorous requirements for safety, functionality, and integration within the Artemis II mission architecture.
