Hug of Thunder is an intimate and nostalgic love letter to a place suspended in time. A film that revels in sensation and feeling, it seeks to capture lightning in a bottle—the ephemeral feeling of falling in love, the elusive nature of desire, and the poetry born out of these ambiguous spaces. The beauty and the pain of love and togetherness. Of past and present. Of trying to reclaim something that was never truly yours.
